"This a fantastic hotel/ryokan hybrid with excellent staff, an amazing onsen and a kid friendly vibe. The breakfast buffet is a must and there is daily ice cream in the afternoon in their relaxation room. The location is great, walkable from the underground east exit of the Kyoto station. The hotel is no-shoes and they provide all guests with comfortable pjs to use in your room and around the hotel. They have coin laundry so don’t over pack. "Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel.
