"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Fabulous location. Helpful staff. Very historic. Took dog who was allowed in room and terrace only. The lounges were empty and it would have been nice to access those. Breakfast was nice too. "

"Lovely location. Family room was spacious & clean. Plenty of storage. Shower was lovely & hot, plenty of towels available. Breakfast was delicious enough to stop you being hungry. Staff were attentive, pleasant & very helpful. Area is nice & peaceful at certain times of day. Highly recommend 👍"
