Rutherglen is a great location to stop when travelling Melbourne to Sydney. Wine Village Motor Inn offers clean and tidy accommodation with a swimming pool close to the centre of town. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Quiet comfortable location

Perfect location in Rutherglen opposite a winery and short walk to main shops/ eateries/ pubs. Rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and in immaculate condition. Owners Max and Sue were very friendly and helpful. Gardens, outdoor areas and pool were a welcome place for an afternoon swim, relax and a drink

We loved this motel. We had the spa room which was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Perhaps my only dislike were the pillows. The bed however was really good. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town

Exceptionally clean. Friendly staff. Well worth the price. Close to many wineries. Only 20 minutes off Hume Highway. Rutherglen is a beautiful town.

Staff were incredibly unfriendly. Room was clean. Air conditioner didn’t cool the room. Electric blanket was ON when I got into bed. The day time temperature that day was 36 degrees. Resulted in a terrible sleep.

We were in suit 6 and enjoyed the room with the spa however when we had take-in to eat we needed to sit in chairs along bench right up against the TV which was too close to be able to sit and eat and watch TV at the same time. A small round table near couch with the chairs would have been better suited. It was also a bit confusing as to where to park our car as our room was in the corner of the building. I would suggest some numbered parking spaces for guests to know exactly where to park their car. We parked in corner spot closest to our room however on one occasion our spot was taken so we were unsure if parking opposite one of the other rooms was going to be ok.
