"Nice rooms, wonderful beds and pillows. The bathroom had no exhaust fan so one shower turned the whole room into a foggy sauna! And there were three of us that had to take showers in there. The parking situation is creepy and not very handy. You have to bump your suitcases down a flight of stairs to get into the hotel from the parking garage. "Parking was easy, and there were several nearby locations for food and amenities. However, there was no deadbolt lock for the door, the wifi didn't work, there was no cleaning service, and I found drug paraphernalia under my mattress. Clearly, this motel is for a certain clientele, and I just didn't fit there. Good location; not a great space."

"It's a wonderful property a stones throw from all the neighborhoods for local shopping and dining. Very comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The booking process is a little tedious but don't let that put you off. They are actively working to make sure all their guests have a pleasant and quite experience. We stayed in a lovely room with a small patio. It was very relaxing. We found the parking to be pretty easy."

They could offer more for the continental breakfast but again, when you compare to other area hotels, you can't really argue with these guys that they shouldn't feel obliged to offer a full breakfast at the excellent rates they charge."

"They held an event for 1,000 people so there was no parking for hotel guests. I drove around for 30 minutes hoping for someone to leave. If they had told me, I would have stayed somewhere else. I will never go back. No one told me about the breakfast."

"I stayed two nights. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Pillows were flat, but stacking them helped. Shower was clean and the water was nice and hot. All amenities in the room were clean and worked as well. I saw a few makeup spots on the bathroom wall, the door had a handprint. I came from California and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Chicago."

"The kiosk check in is beyond stupid. It took FOREVER. Almost a half hour just to check in. I’ve never stayed anywhere where this is the standard. There was somebody at the front desk the entire time. Why can’t a real person just check me it?"
