Staff was super friendly. The text system works perfectly so communication is easy but you feel like you staying in a lovely home instead of a hotel. Can’t wait to return"

"The property is great. The amenities are quality- nothing is cheap… kitchen is stocked & utensils are not flimsy- bedding is nice. Some good touches like under mount lighting in the bathroom that comes on as you walk in- the temperature is easy to keep constant (which is rare in units) it’s very walkable and the parking is easy ($60 per night). "The hotel is pretty nice, but seems dated and geared towards older clientele. The staff were fine but seem very new and slow movers. No one was rude and everyone was fine if you spoke to them but they don't go out of their way or have any sense of urgency. The city surrounding the hotel is unfortunately experiencing high level of unhoused folks and public drug/meth use. It's very sad but be diligent if walking around especially in the Monument Square area. The food scene however is top notch!"

Chris, the weekday bartender, was engaging without being too chatty and gave us a personally recommended guide to Portland sites and restaurants that was spot on every time. The scent in the lobby was overpowering. My husband liked it. I found it offensive."

"The staff was very helpful and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the sheets and bed comforter seemed to be too short for the bed. We expect the bedding to reach our neck when we are sleeping but the bedding did not reach our and armpits. Breakfast was good. The staff kept everything stocked. When we needed ice, they happily provided."

"Property was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We choose an upstairs room (no elevator) with private bath in hall. We are in our 70s and this was not a problem at all. Outstanding continental breakfast each morning with extras plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks 24/7. Short drive into town. Highly recommend."
