"The MET hotel has a bar underneath and by the train station. If you want convenient location this is the place, however the second floor rooms can hear and feel the music downstairs. It was karaoke night Friday, and the singing was not pleasing when you want to sleep and relax on your own. The hotel location has a lot of drunk people or perhaps under the influence. "Clean, bright room and sunset view. Property is dated with an aesthetic I can’t quite name - 90’s nightclub chic? Hotel was full of youth sports teams which was quite delightful until it wasn’t. I would never recommend any adult stay here for a restful or respectful stay. Hallways jammed with kids playing tag, the nice outdoor pool (hot tub out of order) was a complete gong show - and this is coming from a parent with young kids."

"The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. "Air Conditioning worked awesome, hotels not fancy but the price point was ok. No coffee on site or in your room. No filtered water to drink, no food on site. Just a basic room that was just fine. Pillows sucked but the bed was good."
