"This property was a dream!!!! You step out of the front door and into a medieval town. The parlor rooms were beautiful to sit in at night and talk about all your favorite sites of the day. The staff were great! We met Helga and she was a doll!!! The property is walking distance to all the sights. I highly recommend and would definitely revisit! "

"This is an excellent option if you want to spend some time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This property is right next to the old city wall which runs around the old town and there is an entrance a few meters from the hotel entrance, and because it's not right in the heart of the old town, it's quite peaceful after sunset. The room was small (by north american standards) but definitely served the purpose. There are a lot of antique and old-world touches everywhere while being modern in places...

"It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to! Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building. The rooms were outstanding, and touches like having artifacts under plexiglass in the floor was unique. All around fabulous stay. "

"I’m a pretty picky traveler and the stay at the Romantik Hotel Markusturm was one of the most enjoyable times I’ve ever had. We felt welcomed and appreciated as soon as we walked in. Very clean, very cool atmosphere and the breakfast and service was amazing! Front desk staff was extremely helpful. I will return to Rothenburg ob der Tauber again. I will only stay at the Romantik. "
