Restaurant staff were absolutely fabulous! So helpful, kind and polite! Restaurant manager very friendly and kind and our server (I think his name was Evan) was just the best! Service was exceptional! Couldn’t fault anything! Literally our only complaint is that you can’t leave a tip when paying via card...

"I have stayed in this lovely hostel on and off since it first opened years ago. In fact, I used to enjoy having the female dorm to myself in the beginning until it was well known. Always a great, warm, friendly experience and very fond memories of the staff back then. It still remains the same and I enjoyed a one night stay here before heading on to Connemara. "Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
