After a long day of exhaustively and unsuccessfully searching for open camping, we were about to throw in the towel when we decided to stop at The Brick for lunch and a much needed beer. This place is full if local charm and small town hospitality. Our server, Amy, greeted us with a big smile and after hearing our woes gave us tons of helpful information and even set us up with a friend of hers who had some land we could camp on. Along with the charming atmosphere the onion rings are killer and I love the locally brewed Brookside Pale Lager.
The Roslyn Cafe is a local staple. Expect this joint to be jam packed, especially on Sundays during the farmers market which runs from 10-2.
If you ever find yourself in Roslyn, be sure to stop in at Maggie's for an amazing espresso and delicious breakfast burrito. All fresh produce, served with a smile. Darling town.

Area was beautiful. Our mattress, comforter and pillows were all lumpy and uncomfortable. Food and drinks were insanely high. One white russian $22 before the tip. Staff at the Quality Inn were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are very clean, if a little worn. I love that there's a little cafe right across the street - so nice to be able to walk to dinner after a long drive!
