"This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!"

"Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are large. The restaurant on site is wonderful for a special dinner. The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. "This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"Staff was excellent.. always ready to serve. Property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size … double sinks! I just wish they would offer REAL coffee (at a reasonable cost) and not those machines. The machine coffees are not good at all. GREAT water view from our room. "The property needs to consider better lighting in the room because it’s basically dark even when all the lights are on. Our room also had a problem with the drainage in the shower, which was very convenient when you have two people trying to shower. General things like having an ironing board and iron in every room would also be appreciated."

"Nice little hotel close to the heart of the city and about a 30min walk from train station. Room and bathroom were clean. Lacked bathroom amenities, but not a real issue for me because I travel with my own. Bed was a 6/10 in comfort. I would stay there again. FYI- Uber ride to train station at 7:30am was ~20 euros"
