"This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). We ended our lovely evening in the bar area which had a great atmosphere and...

"We couldn't lock the front door all week! The key would not turn. We tried to contact the host but never heard from them. This made the holiday very stressful. The tv did it work either which was annoying. The water pressure in the ensuite shower was really poor making it unusable. The cottage could be so lovely but it feels uncared for and the owner is impossible to contact."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Escapes. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and the whole experience felt relaxed and well-organized. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
