"Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room...

"I arrived at the hotel at 7:30 p.m and nd was told my room was not ready and that it was supposed to be ready at 4:00 p.m. They then made me wait another half hour before I was finally allowed to enter the room at 8:00 p.m. They made sure to tell me that the checkout time was still 11:00 a.m. the next day. For $200 a night I would expect a lot more. I was very disappointed. The bed was comfortable and I made the best of it, but I wouldn't stay there again."

"This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again."

"The hotel was nice. It appeared to have been renovated recently. We visited the hot tub every day. Breakfast was good. Overall, a very good value for Traverse City during the peak season."

"This is a great place to stay, however, if you’re in the adjoining rooms and you have noisy neighbors ….it echoes back into the other room if you’re not in a hallway room. The management was excellent on having a loud child next-door quiet down , even though it was due to the combined entry point. Loved the beds and the view was excellent. Rooftop bar was really nice and pleasant. They had cookies in the evening, which were really good and they always had to grab breakfast of croissant or stone...

"We had reserved a bay view room. The view was amazing. It was also in a quieter area of Traverse City. We had issues with our refrigerator while there and they changed out the unit for us. I really appreciated the daily room service. I wasn't expecting that. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Check in was easy, room was clean. Comfortable bed. Small fridge which was a plus. But the AC unit was loud. For breakfast, go earlier. Not many choices. One day omelet was very salty, it was impossible to eat. We didn't use pool or gym, but they both looked clean."

"Surprised that many sites label this hotel as a 2 star. This hotel is locally owned, not a chain. It looks older on the outside but has been updated to look very nice on the inside. Couldn't ask for a better view of the bay, beach, sunsets, etc. The restaurant is very good! Lots of locals eat there and they have all kinds of food! The ambiance in the restaurant is quaint and doesn't look like hotel restaurant al all! Rooms have fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Not within walking distance to...
