"This hotel probably gets 4 stars due to having the spa (extra €57 per room) and other amenities. But it's a country hotel in a fantastic location with outstanding views of the lake. A reasonably priced restaurant (best to book) serves good food and the breakfast buffet provides an excellent selection but is very Spanish which works for us.

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a little adventure to get to the hotel as it is located in the town and there is no vehicle access. You have to park at the bottom of the town and call them to pick you up in a golf cart. It is a little inconvenient for people with mobility issues and or with many luggage. The hotel is rustic and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and so the staff. The decor could be improved."
