The worst experience with customer service in my life. I think a hostel wouldn't treat its guests the way my wife and I were treated. It transpired that halfway through our stay we have exceeded our pre-authorised deposit for extra charges. So on Saturday night we get a time stamped letter at 10.30pm to immediately speak to management and then we got a follow up letter at 5.30 in the morning!! We didn't notice the first letter since we came back to the room late at 2 in the morning. Our TV started flashing that we urgently need to speak to management. I spoke to management and told them I am checking out the following evening and will pay all outstanding bill then. They then accosted my wife at breakfast to pay immediately - even though they had our passports and credit card information. When I calmly complained about the aggressive nature of enforcing this, the manager snapped at me sarcastically and mockingly that we should not come back to the hotel if we have a problem with the way they run their finances.
Moreover, the crowd is very rowdy and unpleasant in the hotel and the rooms and facilities are extremely dated and in desperate need of refurbishment.
Would never stay again.
