Hotel Isola Sacra Rome Airport

8/10 Good

"What I liked - Quality and variety of the breakfast - Pool area What I didn't like Communication by hotel staff - Failed to inform me how to turn on electrics in the room. One was a bit haughty with me when I checked out. Parking - Convenient but scanner would not read my bar code"

Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

10/10 Excellent

"We very much appreciated the proximity to the airport, as we had an early flight the next morning. While the hotel is located on the grounds of the airport, it is still a nice quiet place to sleep. The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice stay and a dinner at the hotel. I had researched the information and our family appreciated the free shuttle to get to the hotel. What some traveling don't seem to understand is the shuttle to get to the hotel is not like a "hotel shuttle" in the States. It is an Airport bus for the Fumicino airport which also stops at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. What people need to realize is that they have several shuttle busses that service the Fumicino airport. The specific shuttle bus for the Hilton Garden Inn hotel will have that information displayed running in lights at the front of the bus. It will stop at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel pickup spot located outside of Terminal 3 at the airport. It also makes other stops along the route to the hotel. The information is displayed on the screen when you are riding the bus (similar to how the screen on a train shows the stops). The shuttle bus runs 24 hours (running approximately every 15 minutes) and follows a time schedule. The hotel staff can tell you the times. The following morning, as we were checking out, the bus was sitting outside waiting which was perfect and very convenient. We also appreciated the large elevator bank, which is not the usual for hotels in Rome!"
