"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"Michele and Sara and their wonderful property were truly something else. We can, without any hesitation recommend this place. The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast that Sara would make each morning was magnificent. The location was divine. But, in the end, it’s the people that matter and they truly were the most incredible hosts."

"Tuscany was the highlight of our time in Italy, and this hotel definitely played a part in that. It was rustic, cute, comfortable, and the sunset views were stunning. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We forgot to pack an umbrella and when we asked if the hotel had any, one of the staff gave us their own for the day. Such sweet hosts! Also, they have beautiful retriever dogs on site, one of which is usually laying around waiting for guests to give it some love (our favourite part of our stay). The osteria on site was also really good. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscany, whether you're looking for a laid-back stay in a winery or a home base for exploring the region."
