"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Charlie. I slept better there than I have in any other location in Hollywood or Beverly Hills. We had sumptuous beds, thick towels and plenty of space! The atmosphere was peaceful and the detailing on the property was just exceptional. I felt like I was truly in Old Hollywood."

"It’s a super quaint, gated, beautiful little cottage next to a very nice private pool area. Cozy courtyard for outside hangs. Very convenient to Rodeo Dr, Century City, Farmers Market, etc. Owners are very friendly in emails etc but we never saw them. Comfy bed. Big shower. Just the perfect place to relax but also be near a ton of restaurants and activities. "

"The hotel looks and feels like a mall from the 1990s that's been deserted by its customers. The lobby is empty, they hardly have anywhere to sit, no warmth, no buzz from people congregating to have a drink or a coffee. It's not welcoming in the least. Honestly, there's no reason to stay at this hotel with so many better ones at the same (or lower) price nearby."

"The world class hotel I stay there always when I’m in Beverly Hills. They know you by your first name and he always get the best room. You can can’t beat it."

"The staff is amazing the renovation of the public spaces is terrific, always have the best bedding. Rooms are a little tired and I am sure as they continue to update property (pool looks great), It will continue to be a convenient place to stay with great staff and a well appointed gym. Special shout out to Jorge at front desk who always takes amazing care of his guests and doesn’t with a smile "

"The hotel was beautiful and in a convenient location. We stayed on the 10th floor overlooking the city on the Piazza side. The other side overlooks Sunset Blvd and I imagine would have been louder at night given the busy comedy club / night scene! Staff were friendly and accommodating. We didn’t get to use the bowling alley and as the pool closed at 7 it wasn’t used as much as we anticipated. But overall a great stay and we’d return without hesitation."

"The hotel's location is great. The Grove and Farmers Market are right across the street. Good restaurants and several museums are within walking distance. For my needs, it was perfect. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed and other furnishings were comfortable; loved the shower. Staff were pleasant; housekeeping was consistent and they tidied the room daily without my having to request service. For the price of the stay, which is hefty (to me), in-room coffee and tea service would have...

"Gorgeous, stunning, staff was absolutely fantastic, probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in! "

"The bed left a lot to be desired. It was on an exposed metal frame (which I schwacked my ankles on several times) and a mattress with an edge so hard it was painful to sit on - and it was not secure. I was swaying all over on that bed! Like on a sailboat. Showers and bathroom have distressed concrete which is giving prison. Really need to upgrade the beds and bathrooms. Ramon at Valet was a rock star. "
