"If you just need a quiet place to spend a night or two, this hotel is okay. But make sure you ask about the breakfast situation; there is no complimentary continental breakfast, and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant is a little pricey for a so-so meal. We didn't use it, but the exercise room seemed a little limited. The pool being essentially right in the lobby was a bit odd too. "When we checked into the hotel, the clerk was very friendly, checked us in, and told us quiet hours started at 9:00pm. That first night, there were people sitting on a bench literally right next to our window drinking and yelling til after 11:00. The next night, some random lady was pounding on our door at 1:00am. "NO, the got tub was NOT warm enough, not was the pool!! Our room was filthy, even after finding a large can of Butane laying at the door of one of the beds, in our first room!!! The second room was even worse! Floors were clearly not vacuumed, and all the surfaces were full of dust. The manager was very kind and she took it to her boss, but he didn't seem concerned at all, that our rooms were in such a state!"

"The property is old and historic so the heating/air systems are old. They had not switched over to air conditioning yet so our 2nd floor room was 78’ and we had to rely on a breeze through the windows for air. Overall, there seems to be a lack of care for the price we paid. The pool was not filled yet. Hot tub was nice."
