"We liked the lobby, pool and hot tub areas, the gym and the outdoor bar with seating area and the ability to walk the docks and around the water. Staff was so nice. There were paddle boards for rent. Coffee in the morning in the lobby was nice. We didn’t try the Dam Restaurant but it looked quaint and nice. We had fun making fun of the Dam name. 😂It must have been one heck of a resort back in the day and has had updating. To make it exceptional they should change out all of the doors to the rooms to modern ones as well as more lighting in the hallways. It’s got a little 1970’s vibe there. The rooms are not very big so perhaps renovating many of them to make them larger and offering those will help. The huge parking lot just needs redone with new asphalt and painted lines to create a better curb appeal. This is walking distance to small tap houses and breakfast spots with outdoor seating and right around the corner to a state park with water and beach but you have a private one at the hotel. Nice place. We will be back. 😁"

"the rooms were clean and looks like recently renovated. The rooms are standard comfort Inn rooms w enough storage, staff was friendly, Pool is small but good enough for kids, close to free way. If you want good dining places, I didn't see anything nearby so its a good 10 to 20min drive and there are plenty options. Lake Couer d'alene is ~20mins drive. They have a small fitness center. Breakfast is standard continental bfast. For the price I think this was a good hotel for our stay for a family of 4 with kids."

"We had an amazing stay! What a beautiful property and friendly staff. The pool was small but the kids had a great time. Breakfast was great with a ton of options for everyone. I was especially impressed that they offered non-dairy alternatives as most places don’t."

"We stayed most of a week. It was nicer inside than out. It is an older facility that has been reasonable maintained. The beds were comfortable and it met our needs. Nothing was fantastic, but there was nothing seriously wrong either. It was a busy time period in Coeur d'Alene but you would never know it in the hotel. The staff handled the busy time well."
