Convenient location near airport and main roads to explore area around Girona. Room as advertised and spacious. Great outdoor pool and indoor spa pool. Really enjoyed relaxing stay at the hotel. Although if you do want walking distance to restaurants / attractions then do look at the location of this hotel as it is away from main town. Lovely hotel and perfect for my stay in the area.

We arrived to the Girona airport very late at 1 am. I called the hotel and they sent the shuttle over to pick us up. In the morning we caught the shuttle back over to the airport and purchased bus tickets for the bus that took us directly to the north Barcelona station. The hotel room was very clean and well maintained. The pool and spa / hot baths area were clean and beautiful. We didn’t eat at the property except for a morning cafe latte, but the breakfast looked good. The front desk staff spoke English well and was extremely helpful to us regarding transportation questions. We were happy with our stay and would recommend the Salles Hotel!

Bella Girona !

Hotel was nice. Spa was very good. It is nice that is included for the same price. The only complaint I have is that the food is not great to be honest. Other than that we would definitely come back !

Great location and great staff.

It was really lovely. We had to change rooms, as there was an issue with the bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The facilities were great. Outdoor pool, indoor Spa. The restaurant staff were super. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. Right beside Girona Airport. I would definitely stay there again.

It was good, with the half hour shuttle bus to the airport and when i dropped the car hire back, the walk back was quite nice.

It is a quiet and safe area, with good transportation connections, but there was nothing nearby. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the hotel facilities were clean.

Would stay here again.

Very Nice stay! I was here with my Grandma and it was such a nice stay! The hotel picked us up at the airport and they drove us back the next morning. The receptionists was all so friendly and helpful ! Rooms where clean and everything was good. Breakfast was better than expected. Would stay here again.

good location near airport with free entry to spa. Shuttle bus by hotel worked well so we could get bus next day from airport to girona. Really enjoyed 3 course 19 euro evening meal. Staff helpful and room clean.

Had to take an overnight stop before a morning flight from Girona airport, so a hotel closeby was a must. Booked this hotel through Expedia along with my flight, and it couldn't be better. Everything was spotless, the staff were superb, the room was large and well-appointed. Most hotels I stay in have one common 'fault' - a double room with only one chair! This place had 2 chairs, and a table, and another chair behind the desk. I arrived early so had a quick drink at the bar while my room was finished - €3.50 for a large cold beer... yes! The pool was cool and clean, with a pool bar open all day until late, and we also had a gym and sauna, which we were allowed to use free for the first hour. Food was delicious and not too pricy, and although we were only 5 minutes drive from the airport (using the free airport shuttle) there was very little, if any, aircraft noise sat out by the pool. All in all, an absolute bargain at £88 a night, including the marvellous breakfast! Next time I fly to/from Girona I'll be arriving a day early to have another stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect for Girona airport

We choose this hotel due to its proximity to Girona airport and it was perfect for arriving and departing by plane. The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from the airport which is included in the price. It just made our trip so much more relaxing. The facilities are great. We loved the large courtyard with the pool - perfect for relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s also a regular bus that gets you from the hotel to Girona in 20 minutes.

The hotel was fine for the most part—clean, comfortable, and generally a pleasant stay. However, the food was a real letdown. It was not only overpriced but also tasted terrible, which was a major disappointment. If you stay here, I’d recommend eating elsewhere.

Stay ruined by other noisy guests

The hotel is very convenient for Girona airport being only 5min by free hotel shuttle bus. The shuttle runs 24/7. At first arrival the hotel facade looks disappointing, like a 1970s eastern Eeopean motel However, once inside things change. The lobby is more 1980s casino glitz. Once past this you will gind a really good hotel. Freshly renovated, marble and tiles in a coean design. Spacious rooms with all the expected amenities like safe, minibar, slippers, tea and coffe etc. Our room also had plenty large white fluffy towels and the shower had the best water pessure we have experienced in a hotel.A spa area with indoor pool and an outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers. The pool bar guy is great and very helpful. The restaunt had a good choice of dinner options at very reasonable prices and the wine selction was excellent. BUT...we didnt get any sleep. Airport hotels tend to be frequented by tourists, business people, airline crews on short layover or early/late flights so need sleep. We had a 3am flight to catch so were in bed by 10pm. 10.30pm.we were woken by women of middle eastern appearance talking loudly on phone outside our room. This was followed by another womand an a child chasing in the corridor. They laughed when I asked them to be quiet.Woken again midnight similarly with knocking and slamming doors this time a man and two women. And again at 2am. I complained to reception. Apparently they are longer term residents and there had been previous complaints.

Disappointing room

Maybe I just had bad luck with the room. But let’s start at the beginning I booked via hotels.com (Expedia). For some kind of reason I had to email the confirmation email to them (I rather keep my email personal). Then the room…I was in room 9. The room looked completely different than the pictures. It was incredibly small. The suitcase didn’t fit anywhere to just open it (small travel on suitcase). The AC was making a lot of noise and you can hear water going from the upstairs neighbor (or the AC?). The most important bummer was the mattress. This was rock solid hard. The swimming pool area is nice. However they close it already at 21:00 (not very Spanish). Also this is the only hotel that I know off that requires you to wear a showerhead in the swimming pool (I’m bald). You can buy (!) these at the reception. Restaurant was fairly priced but quality was mediocre. When I read the reviews I most have had bad luck. But for the experience I got I’m just disappointed and won’t come back at my next trip.
