This is not a quiet hotel. It is more of a B&B. It is a beautiful place, and the art installations are really interesting. The furnishings in the room are really cool and funky. The neighborhood is very quaint, and the end is close to cafés and bars and galleries. That’s the good. There are no staff on site after the afternoon. One night there was no hot water. Their system usually depends on solar panels, but there had not been sun and somebody forgot to turn on the back up. The rooms are not quiet at all. My room was right on the street and you could hear trucks struggling up the hill all night long. There is no sound insulation at all. You can hear staff chatting as they are having coffee right outside your room door If you have a full day planned, you need to make sure you get breakfast someplace else. They don’t start serving breakfast until 9 AM.
