"We liked the property. It was close to the ocean and hearing the ocean rise and fall was wonderful for sleeping and meditation. I did not like being placed on the 20th floor of the hotel. I'm aversive to heights. The room was fine and we had a partial view of the ocean. But we also had a good view of the favela bored into the mountainside behind the hotel. The favelas are unfortunate living areas of the poor and dispossessed, and this bothered me somewhat. The food was great. The restaurants...

"The location is excellent. A much quieter section of Copcabana.Staff at very good and helpful. Metro about 20min walk. Good places to eat near by. Would definitely stay here again. They do put a charge on your credit card at check in rather than just take card details. Would have been helpful to know this before hand as could have been a problem if not enough credit."

"The Windsor Martinique was such a fantastic and safe location to both Copacabana and Ipanema Sandy and safe beaches. The weather was just perfect. The staff were amazing from the front door keeper to the friendly and polite reception staff and all the breakfast and evening staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Paulo. Breakfast was so delicious with just so much choice. The best cappuccino we can recommend in Rio De Janeiro! We will definitely stay at The marvellous Windsor Martinique...

"Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!"
