The stars are only for the staff lady that assisted me with the hot water issue. There was no hot water the first morning there, so she had to let me into the adjoining unit. Then she said the manager was trying to claim it was because there were other people using showers at the same time, when there were 2 other occupied units. How are you maintaining a hotel with hot water only working one unit per time? The wifi was also terrible; it wasn't connecting more than it was. And this is in the middle of a well sized city; I had better wifi the day before in the middle of nowhere (Beatty, NV). My last morning there, there were 2 tiny roaches in the bathroom, and you know where there's one, there's a lot. Wouldn't go back & would advise others to bypass this one. The low pet fee was attractive, but not worth the rest of the headache.

Stains on the bed, moved to a new room, bugs in the shower, Jass is a very rude manager and needs to work on owning up to her mistakes. I did not appreciate getting blamed for the uncleanliness :( Service from employees was very good though. Overall I did not enjoy my experience here :,)

A lovely motel with potential. The staff are excellent. The rooms are a decent size. Looks like some renovations have been started but need finishing. Only warm, not hot, water in the shower.

Staff is awesome 👏. Very pleasant and helpful! Midway Cafe is better than a typical hotel do it yourself breakfast. Rooms small, bathrooms small, but bed comfortable and heater very good. Bathroom has been updated to new style (rainfall shower head). Great spot for short stay bargain, perfect for one person👍😉

Pleasantly surprised

Leary about being a Howard Johnson but it was very clean with great mattress. Rooms updated and as nice or better than the better chain hotel names. Host was delightful and incl a full order breakfast. Give them a try.
