The room was adequately clean. The manager was very polite.
Asking if the air conditioner was working in January in Ridgecrest was rather STUPID! It was cold and windy. The heater was necessary and it worked.
It took a long time to get hot water in the bathroom sink.
Great comfortable, clean rooms service always ready to help with anything you need!

I will stay there again.
Con’s:
(1) 👎 Smoke detector found in a drawer, probably forgotten after room improvements.
(2) No wash cloth. one hand towel and one bath towel,
(3) No bed blanket, only the sheets.
Pros:
Location - very nice.
Shopping center directly across the street.
Property is actually just off the Main Street in a residential area.
My room was fairly nice inside.
Hot water - it was nice.
Observation- room key was an actual key. Door did have a dead bolt.
Very nice room. Decorated beautifully. Wonderful location. 10/10

Best thing about this place are the employees always friendly! It’s pretty clean and good prices too! Especially in the middle of nowhere after a long drive does the trick haha
I came up on it at night. I wasn’t to sure of the place. But was greeted by a nice friendly couple. The room was a retro roomie space. The beds and pillows was very comfortable. Walking distance to a nice cafe called Midway cafe. I would stay again looking for a budget friendly hotel.
I was pleasantly surprised! This is an older property, but the room was very spacious, had a big bathroom with shower. I wardrobe, writing desk and chest for clothes. Super comfy King Bed. Very clean and great for what we needed. Would definitely stay there again!
Nothing flashy. Just friendly service and basic creature comforts. For the price, I was happy overall

Unfortunately we found many many many big and small bugs mainly in the bathroom. Room #112. Rest of the room was very clean, comfy beds, super nice front desk.
Overall the room was not bad. had sheets that were stained. toilet paper holder was broke. Air conditioner worked well. the bed was comfortable.

I was really pleased with my stay. As the most "affordable" room I could find, my expectations were low. But, the family that owns the motel met me out front as I pulled up, check-in was smooth, my room was clean, and everything was totally adequate. The area around the motel appeared to be very safe. They made me feel welcome. Couldn't ask for more.
Be aware that this motel is old, and not what you would expect from recent construction. If I'd paid a lot more, I may have been disappointed. But, I wasn't. If I'm ever in the area again, I will totally stay here again.

I so wish I could give this place higher stars. I intended to upon check-in, staff was so extremely friendly and the room was clean…. But. The HEATER IS AS LOUD AS A WIND TURBINE and it’s next to the bed!!! It was a cold night and it had to turn on and off several times every hour. It was so loud you had to yell to hear each other in the small room. We couldn’t sleep at all, left totally exhausted for a full day of hiking at Death Valley. Very unfortunate.
The gal that checked me in was very nice. I asked about an ice machine and there is none here. She was gracious to give me enough for my drink out of her personal room. There were a few people hanging out that did not look like upstanding citizens. The air conditioning/hess was ter did not work. It was a mild night so I didn’t need it. And who paints a bedroom red? Not a very relaxing color. How this place got an 8 out of 10 rating is beyond me.
