The bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me but my husband didn’t mind. It was also a little stuffy in the room so we opened the windows to get some lovely cool fresh air in the morning and evening. "

In the days leading up to our reservation there was lots of communication about check in and what was on offer. The free bus pass made it easy to get from Interlaken to Beatenberg. "What a beautiful property and excellent location .. evrthing is so beautiful but one odd incident leaves a bad memory.. and there front desk manager Ines does that .. I have not met such a rude front desk manager in my travel over 25 countries .. rest of the staff is excellent and friendly ..I don’t know why owners have kept her there .. the property is beautiful ..food is excellent .. convinent to new travel .. right on the bus stop .. "

Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. "Hotel forms part of the castle and has the most incredible views. Lovely spa which I recommend for an hour after a busy day exploring. Great location for connections to the mountains. Lift access to the Old Town. Super friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Unique hotel that I would highly recommend. "
