"This property is surrounded on both sides by the Grampians, nestled near the town centre of Halls Gap. Plenty of wild animals to see, kangaroos, wallabies, deer and ducks are all plentiful. Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) "We stayed in the deluxe queen very comfortable very clean newly renovated bathroom large screen TV it was a cold night and the aircon was excellent there's a microwave toaster kettle everything that you need also breakfast in the morning was full Continental with cereal and toast Can't fault this place people complain about the trucks yes it was a little noisy until about 10 pm and then you couldnt hear much at all Highly recommend and a perfect place to stop over on the way from Adelaide to Melbourne"

"Stayed 1 cold and wet night, the room was freezing on arrival. After playing with the heater for an hour finally got the room warm and cozy. The bed was very comfy, but only 2 pillows on the bed with 1 spare in the closet. The bathroom was very spacious, took a while for the hot water to come through but once it did was a pleasant shower. Dined in at the restaurant, again it was cold, we were the only ones dining. Food was absolutely delicious, and got a discount as an overnight guest to the hotel. Would I stay again? Yes but may I suggest you pop the heater on for your guests who are arriving on cold evenings."
