"Surprisingly good for a small basic place in a tiny town. The air-conditioning was great, essential during this heat wave. Staff very friendly and helpful, at the desk and in the small restaurant, which was good. Room small but functional."

"Magnifique découverte de la Quinta San Francisco à l'occasion de l'éclipse solaire. Le séjour s'est avéré trop court à Castrojeriz, village situé sur un chemin de Saint Jacques dans un environnement riche en patrimoine historique. Le lieu est parfait pour qui cherche le calme et la sérénité. Merci à toute l'équipe qui est très serviable et polyvalente. Un merci tout particulier au directeur de l'établissement qui n'a pas ménagé sa peine pour être aux petits soins de l'ensemble des clients de l'hôtel."

"This is a wonderful little family run hotel. It has well maintained rustic interiors and a cute internal courtyard with artificial grass, tables and sofas. It’s pet friendly so makes a perfect stop with our dogs as we drive from southern Spain to the ferries or to France on our way home. A simple breakfast is available and cooked to order. The hotel has a restaurant across the road and the food was amazing. I had the best entrecôte steak in years. If the restaurant is closed (they have limited opening in the winter) then a smaller menu is available in the restaurant itself. We will be back."

"This posada was a perfect stop on our drive to Portugal. It’s just off the main road in a very quiet rural village. The hotel has a cafe/bar and a restaurant with a few decent choices for a set meal which included three courses, a bottle of wine and water for 25 euros a head. The room was good with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. All perfect for a quick overnight spot."

"This is more of a guest house than a hotel, the couple who runs it are super nice but don't speak english - so have your Spanish ready! We only stayed for one night, it met our needs. The breakfast was really nice!"
