Best hotel I have ever stayed at! From the Mountain View’s to the warmth of the staff would come back in a heartbeat. I have a dairy allergy and they catered for it perfectly never feelin like a fuss and just changing up recipes as needed. Location is peaceful and quiet and beds are super comfy. And this is all before I have even talked about their amazing sauna

Amazing!! Couldn’t be better

I’m not one to leave reviews, but Hotel Spielmann absolutely deserves every bit of praise possible. This hotel is exceptional … the staff, the food, the ambiance, the spa, the rooms …. Everything is perfect. The hotel is family run and has been for 100 years and you can feel the love and pride the owners have in everything. The hotels history is a huge part of the story telling a d done in a tryly respectful way. We cannot praise the hotel, staff, food and cleanliness enough. Amazing place and not only will we return, but would wholeheartedly recommend to all friends and family. Enjoy your stay … you’re in for a treat.

This Tyrolean hotel is truly amazing. Every little detail counts: spacious balcony with breathtaking mountain view, nicely decorated suit that was cleaned twice a day, lots of flowers, halls decorated with Defregger's works, 5-course delicious evening menu included into 'half-board' offer, the staff dressed in national costumes, the sauna with floor-to-ceiling window facing Alpine meadow, heated outdoor pool, tyrolean music evenings every week, aperitif by hosts served in the garden for the guests on Sunday, 90 hiking trails around and guided hiking tours by hotel owner, numerous sightseeing options around the town, open air concerts at Ehrwald Kirchplatz by local orchestra...We've spent 7 days there and i can go on and on...it was simply amazing.

Erholung und kulinarisches Erlebnis im August

Wunderbares Wellnesshotel mit Liebe zum Detail, moderner Ausstattung, aber dennoch unglaublich uriger Athmosphäre. Der neu installierte Infinity-Pool bietet einen einmaligen Ausblick auf die das Hotel umgebenden Berge. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die Qualität des Essens. Den Grillabend bei Sonnenuntergang und Hausmusik werden wir sicherlich so schnell nicht vergessen. Vielen Dank an Familie Spielmann & das Hotelteam

Schön gelegenes Hotel

Hotel in wunderschöner Umgebung. Leider passt der Service weder zum Preis noch zum selbst vorgegebenen gewünschten Qualität-Anspruch: z.B. unfreundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, 2 Tage wurden im Bad die beiden leeren Seifen-/Schampoo-Spender nicht aufgefüllt (erst nach Reklamation), beim Abendessen (Selbstzahler, keine Halbpension) war um 19:40 Uhr bereits das Salatbuffet zu mehr als einem Drittel leer. Auf Anfrage zum Auffüllen wurde uns vom Junior-Chef mitgeteilt, dass es vorher ja noch voll war und jetzt nicht mehr aufgefüllt wird, da keine Zeit dazu sei oder auch einzelne Produkte aus seien. Was für eine Antwort für ein 4*-Hotel/Restaurant! Schein und Sein liegen hier doch sehr weit auseinander. Unserer Meinung nach ist der bezahlte Preis nicht mit der Service-Leistung des Hotels zu vereinbaren. Es gibt in der Gegend Ehrwald/Lermoos deutlich kunden-freundlichere Hotels mit einer besseren Ausstattung und ähnlichen Preisen, die wir selbst schon mehrfach in der Vergangenheit gebucht hatten. Deshalb werden wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen und nicht wieder kommen.

Der Empfang und die Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und vorbildlich. Der Service im Restaurant war sehr gemischt. Beim Frühstück allerdings war der Service sehr kommunikativ und sehr freundlich.

Even nicer than expected

We loved the hotel and its location! The hotel and grounds were charming and just the right level of Alpine ambience without being in any way kitsch. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. Not sure if we'll get back to that area anytime soon, but we would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to any friends who might go there. Especially liked that the village wasn't as big and commercial as Garmisch on the German side of the border. Maybe a little slow (particularly in the off season) but we liked it that way.
