"Our stay at the Octant Douro was amazing! They accommodated our early arrival by treating us to breakfast and getting us into our room well before check in time. They upgraded our room and consistently checked in if we needed anything and were so helpful to every question that we had. We will definitely be back!"

"Ce domaine est magnifique. Les vignes tout autour, les collines du Douro, l’immensité et la paix vous entourent. Et l’accueil des propriétaires est particulièrement attentionné. Bien sûr déguster les vins du domaine, dans le domaine, fait partie de la belle expérience. Cet endroit restera gravé dans nos souvenirs: merci !"

"Everything was amazing. Staff was cooperative. View was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was great. Very nice food. Only one draw back was Expedia did not mentioned in room description that there were 80 + steps to climb to go to family rooms. But staff helped us go up and down in golf cart which they said they do not do normally. I would come again for view and great service they provided. My therapeutical massage was cherry on top. Overall great experience. Relaxed and enjoyed this property."

"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. Coming in September or October during the winemaking season would be fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable and helpful"

"Staff were fabulous, special thanks to Ana, Bruno and Rita. Hotel was nice but tired, needs some TLC. Hotel is good for 2 nights, as dinner menu only changes every other day. Breakfast was satisfactory. As the accommodation was listed as a “wine hotel” we were expecting wine tastings and a sommelier."
