"The rooms were clean and cozy! We liked the breakfast, cold water accessible all day, and the Blue Hen was fantastic! My only complaint was the noise from the drunken patrons of the bar next door. We stayed at the Avenue II, and almost every night around 1am, people were yelling and screaming outside the bar. I thought there was a noise ordinance preventing that. We’d stay here again but in the main hotel."

"Great distance to the beach. The room needs to be updated, rusty hinges in the bathroom, the table was all scraped up and the carpet was very dirty. Walking on it with white socks turned black very quickly. Whatever they use for cleaning products was so strong when we got there, it was gross. The pool looked nice on the 4th floor but we didn’t use it. Served its purpose for a few days but definitely not worth what we paid."

"The room was nice and clean. The sofa pulled out into a decent bed - just be aware it's not that long. The pool and deck were great options, and the location is great. I was able to easily find parking in the garage. We also used the hotel chairs and towels for the beach, which is very convenient."

"We stay here every yr. You can’t beat the location and the facility is always clean. However, with the rising cost to stay it would be nice to have the pool updated, hangers or more drawers in the rooms, room showers updated and outside shower,"

"We had rented two adjoining Bayside rooms. Bedsheets had stains in one room. The other room had numerous stains on the rug. Ceiling shows bad patching and paint was old and yellow. Otherwise not bad for a place to just sleep and pass through. Price was unreasonably high but expected for prime season. All rentals in the beach areas of Delaware sky rocketed this year compare to last year rates at the same time."
