"The hot tub was out of order which wasn't a huge problem for me this time. But noone was at the front desk when I arrived late at 3:00 a.m. after my car broke down driving from Calgary. I called for someone. No response. I phoned the front desk. No response. I repeated both actions. No response. Finally, I knocked very loudly on a side door to a room behind the front desk and someone came out. I was later told that the staff member was in the staff room and had gone to the washroom but it was an awfully long time for this to be true. After he finally came out and checked me in, he went back to the room behind the desk. Another person went in and was trying to check in and encountered the same problem. Noone at the desk! After I got my suitcases out of my car, he had finally come out to help her but this was at least 5 minutes later. They need to have a buzzer or cell phone to notify the front desk person when someone arrives. I almost went to another hotel and would have lost my money. The manager the next day was great. He was extremely helpful, apologetic and kind. He was absolutely perfect when it came to customer service, providing help to bring my luggage down, taking care of my dog while I got my luggage and even assisting to load everything in my car. I was very greatful for his kindness and his genuine concern for me after my horrible night the day before. He is the reason I love this hotel. For the most part, their customer service is excellent!"
"Hotel recently updated and clean! The water park was great, especially those travelling with family. The location was close a variety of amenities and shopping stores."
"Room was quiet bed comfortable shower good staff friendly and efficient check in easy breakfast adequate parking easy best of all watched Habs playoff game and they won"
"Friendly staff. Hotel under renovations, but kept tidy. Breakfast was satisfactory considering not a full hot meal due to Reno. Close to restaurant fast food and Keg right next door along with other sit down close by. With several grocery stores minutes away. 10 minutes to airport and Co-operative 6 arenas and Mosaic Stadium. "
"My room was spacious enough for my needs, and I was happy with the layout. I did not hear any noise from the adjoining rooms, which suggests that effective sound barriers have been installed between guest rooms.
The cleaning staff did an excellent job maintaining the room during my stay. The hotel’s location is in a quiet area, and while I occasionally heard a train whistle during the night, that is not something the hotel can reasonably control.
I appreciated the window blind setup, which includes both a blackout blind and a privacy blind. This is a great feature, as it allows natural light into the room while still maintaining privacy. However, the blinds in my room appeared somewhat worn and could benefit from replacement.
One area for improvement would be hallway noise, which does carry into the room at times. A simple and effective solution would be to install door sweeps at the bottom of each door to help reduce noise intrusion.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would choose to stay here again."
