The chalet was just perfect, very spacious. Really clean and close to the center of Zabljak. The host was very responsive and available for any needs. The only thing missing was a washing machine, as we were there for 3 nights. But overall, a very good place where to stay of you want to hike around.

A great stay in Zablijak

We arrived at a wooden spacious house with 3 bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready for a comfortable stay, including all the necessary kitchen appliances, games for kids, books and video films. The owner was welcoming and very nice!

A lovely cottage in the mountains.

The cottage was huge and the location was very quiet, there were sheep grazing next to our backyard and we just loved the whole place. The kitchen was well-equipped.

My son and I have just returned from our first trip to Montenegro and I can’t recommend this property or the host enough. The family chalet is huge, with two double rooms and a twin room. There’s also a sofa upstairs which may double as a bed. The property is immaculate and well appointed with everything you’d need for a self catering getaway. The host couldn’t do enough and check in was simple and over in minutes. He currently offers bike hire and organising of activities and is easily contactable via WhatsApp. Žabljak is 15-20 minutes walk and offers two supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. We agreed that we’d love to return and if so, we’d definitely stay at the family chalet again!

Property is exactly as described. Good location though i was definitely missing AC during the 80 degree weather. Biggest "issue" was i didnt realize until i checked in that the payment was due in cash.

Great mountain stay but....

My partner and I had booked this accomodation for the two of us for the location and value for money. First timers in Montenegro and was keen to explore the mountains. Accomodation was clean, good cooking facilities, spacious and peaceful Only down side was poor WiFi, said connected but no internet was available which made it a bit difficult when trying to plan day trips, map routes. Host was helpful with local area and willing to help with bike hiring however, if you are looking for an activity stay, we highly recommend durmitor adventures.

Tilava ja hyvin varusteltu sympaattinen mökki, jossa myös sauna. Upeat maisemat, sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Žabljakin keskustasta. Isännälle kannattaa saapuessa soittaa avainten saamiseksi ja lisäksi käteistä on varattava maksua varten (Žabljakissa on pankkiautomaatti). Langaton internetyhteys toimi moitteetta ja erityismaininta television kaapelikanavista! Aamiainen on hankittava tai tehtävä itse, mökissä myös keittiö esimerkiksi tähän tarkoitukseen.

Touristisch noch ein Entwicklungsgebiet

Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Nachdem wir unseren Aufenthalt nach nur 2 Nächtigungen (anstatt gebuchten 4) abgebrochen haben hat er darauf bestanden uns den restlichen Betrag zu refundieren. Das Häuschen liegt etwas abseits von Zabljak. Das nächste vernünftige Restaurant ist ca 3-4 Autominuten entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Für junge Leute und Familien ohne allzuhohe Erwartungen (ist nicht abwertend gemeint!) bestens geeignet und empfehlenswert.

Home sweet home!

It was the best stay in Montenegro! The only thing I really regret is that I stayed there for one night only. It's a family run tiny business, and you will feel like you're visiting your old friends! The owners are very helpful, they organized absolutely everything you need for your stay, no matter if you're going to spend there one night or a couple of weeks! What I love most about this place it's all those tiny details, like: some coffee, sugar, oil, liquid soap, detergent - if you forget something or haven't bought it yet for your stay - you'll find it there! TV, some music CDs, chess, playing cards, maps of the area and so on! It was like stay home while traveling! Very nice and cozy place with a peaceful and relaxing vibe. I'd love to come back one day! Thank you for everything!

Ideal location to peacefully enjoy the Durmitor

We totally loved this charming property. It's located only 4.5km of Crna lake (black lake), and 2.5km from Zabljak municipality. It's a spacious with three bedrooms for 7 people and well equipped wooden right by the Durmitor park. It has a mini bar with a good selection of local drinks. The views of the mountains are marvellous. We definitely recommend this place.

Very good place to stay in Montenegro.

We only stayed for one night, but the owner was superbly nice and very friendly. The place can sleep 7 people and obviously used for the sky season. We had a good experience and can definitely recommend to others.

Comfortable wooden cabin close to mountains

The owners met us at the place (which is beautiful) and gave us great advice about what to see during our stay. We had a wonderful stay, hiking and swimming in lakes. Thoroughly recommend.

Viel Platz zum Abschalten

Eine ideale, unkomplizierte Unterkunft als Basislager für Wanderungen in den Durmitor. Es gibt drei Doppelschlafzimmer, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und zwei Bäder (alles sehr sauber) – und in der Nacht nur Stille und den Mond über den dunklen Gipfeln am Horizont.
