Facility changed internet carrier & password without telling us so we couldn’t get in when we got there. (This happened to 2 other guests while we were staying there.). Didn’t know which room was ours, after another guest let us in. No one on site to help with anything. Overall, rundown condition of entire facility. No hot water in shower. No hangers in wardrobe. Towels below Motel6 size & quality. Only good thing is its location within easy walking to train station & town center. But, I do NOT recommend staying here.

Het was zoeken naar de ingang, een klein tuinhek. De villa ligt mooi aan een groot park. Bij aankomst was er niemand. Uiteindelijk via telefoon de code voor de deur gekregen. We hadden kamer 5, de honeymoon suite. Die was erg basic en kleurloos. Wel schoon. Ontbijt was ook eeg simpel.

The host, Giovanni, was very accommodating, gave us great local restaurant recommendations and helped with cruise terminal arrangements. Centrally located for easy walking to beautiful Ravenna. The B&B has a lovely treed garden to enjoy a morning cappuccino or an evening Prosecco. Next to a wooded city park with the best pizza spot since Napoli.

Couldn't get into the place and got no response from the owner. Had to go and stay in another hotel for the night. Lost my money, but if the other reviews about it being dirty and mouldy are correct then perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing.

We arrived before check-in on a swelteringly hot day and it was locked and there was no one available. We reached out to see if we could at least drop off our luggage. We did receive a reply with a code and dropped our luggage near the entrance - in full view of the door and anyone who came in. An hour or so later we returned and it still seemed as if no one was there. Finally, an older woman came out but she spoke no English. We finally got a key to the room. The room was clean but the shower less so. We just wanted a coffee or a tea but there was nothing available, the tea kettle in the room, I wouldn’t boil water in it, it was so dirty. There was no remote for the TV and we got it a couple of hours later. The Expedia description says it has a pool. If it does we never saw it. Breakfast had very little offered but the Italian lady did offer a cappuccino that was quite good. We would not return to this accommodation.

L'hôte est très accueillant et accommodant. Belle endroit près de toutes les beautés de Ravenne. Je recommande fortement cette endroit pour un court séjour surtout avant une croisière. Merci

Very disappointed

We were able to leave our luggage which was great. Able to get in room using wifi means with no problem the 1st time, but got locked out the 2nd time and got no response from owner via phone or email. Able to get back in 2hrs later. Water for shower was lukewarm at best. Despite advertisement for breakfast, none was provided and couldn't leave without taking luggage for fear of inability to get back in. Overall horrible experience and we have traveled alot.

A classic Art Deco home. Main floor has 3-4 B&B rooms. IKEA style bedroom furniture. Clean. Walkable, 1/2 mile from train station and to the UNESCO tiles tour from 500-600 AD. 3/4 mile to nearest grocery, deli, wine store. Host offers many excellent suggestions for local restaurants about half mile away. Check days and hours of operation. Self-pay refreshments in each room. Cute, tiny resident dog. Non-obtrusive but friendly host.

After booking, about two days before our check in date, we received an email to check in online. We are not computer illiterate, but we were not able to check in online. We tried many times with no luck. We tried as many times to reach them by phone, during normal business hours and no one answered. We left messages with no call back. We then just went to the property and there were no staff anywhere. The other guests said their is no one on site. We finally gave up and paid for another hotel down the street, which was great by the way. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a proof of our room booked and they wouldn’t come look at it. They told us to leave their property immediately. Very rude. We were out on the street most if the night 3 cabs latter we found a place to sleep We are in a different country. People weren’t very helpful. I was in tears. Had even called and confirmed room two weeks earlier. I think he rented to someone that rented longer. He beeped us in the building. He told us we were in room 4. And someone was in that room. Then told us 2 then we were in the room for about 10 mins and he called us a told us to get out. It’s a nightmare. He blamed it on Expedia.

I recommend you avoid this property. Host doesn't seem to care anymore about delivering services advertised. Room had a comfy bed and stong shower but that is where it ended. Toilet had not been cleaned, minibar was empty although very explicit price list was laid out. Room very poorly maintained. Smoke detector was laying in a basket on the dresser. Marks and stains on walls, toilet paper holder hanging on by a thread, single lightbulb hanging in bathroom, laminate hanging off cabinetry. The room was called "luxury" but nothing luxurious about it or the property. Host greeted us next morning when breakfast was laid out to tell us it was 10 euro per person. We said it was included with expedia rate and he conceded. The breakfast was pathetic esp for a property that advertises as a B & B. Coffee and limited cereal from old plastic dispenser with no milk or cream. Packaged croissent and buns like you get on plane with no butter. The fruit was a variety of old wrinkled apples that had been sitting out for god knows how long. No meats or cheeses or eggs. Although it was close to the train station and convenient, we felt very uncomfortable walking there after dark. If we could have found another place the second night we would have. So sad because the property has so much potential with a little love and effort.

Truly a lovely experience. The owners who run the property are both delightful people with an adorable dog that is super fun and playful, and I loved the place. The breakfast is impressive and looked delicious (I’m not a big breakfast person but it looked incredible and the coffee was good).
