"The property needs an uplift. Our room fridge was faulty and leaking, the bunk bed was making a creaking noise every time you turn around so it was difficult to sleep. Felt the room was too small for 4 people but we managed. The staff was really good and helpful so didn't even want to complain. The staff made it a very pleasant holiday for us. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Sanctuary. We were a bit worried as we’d seen some bad reviews for this place but it must have had an overhaul because it was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with everything working and everything we needed. It was nice and quiet and private. The private beach is great for snorkelling. They have so many activities happening and kayaks/snorkelling gear to use. The pool was awesome especially the swim up bar. Cocktails were yummy....

"Its quite dated now for the price you pay. Bed is 2 singles together & you feel the join & its not a comfortable bed. The phone is hopeless due to service/static so was hopeless trying to order room service or ringing reception. Justbso you are aware The menu/food not the best & when its theme nights you cant order anything else except off the snack menu so not good if you have no transport to go elsewhere.I only stay here if i travel on my own due to having a private pool room otherwise we stay...

"The staff at Moana Sands were absolutely amazing, particularly the ladies on the front desk. There was one who was especially wonderful and gave my friend and I lots of ideas and information about places to visit and what to do (she was the one who told us about the fantastic lemon cheesecake at the Maire Nui gardens!). "The staff and management did their best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, they are very helpful and friendly. They were fantastic on the last day - helping us out immensely. "My family stayed here for a week and we couldn't be more impressed by our host Paul and his fabulous seaside apartments. The guests ranged from single travellers, couples to families, and The Black Pearl was perfect for all.
