"The standalone cabin was very well appointed. Great layout in a grassy meadow with picturesque views of waterfalls. The best part of this property is that you have 24/7 access to Seljanfoss waterfalls. We drove the 6 minute drive to the falls at 11:30 at night. "This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. "We had a wonderful two night stay here. It is a bit away from anything which we liked, but be sure to plan accordingly. It was easy to spend the day on the ring road leaving that morning and making our way back in the evening (the never ending sunlight helped).
