"We walked from train station and did not have an automobile at the site. Yet--we were charged for valet parking of a vehicle---$55 despite telling the desk that we did not have a vehicle and did not need valet parking. Please correct this error. "

The area was all dirt that had just had the weeds hacked down to ground level. We did appreciate being able to buy a potty pad in the office, just in case. We ended up going to charge the car and using the grass there. Parking was adequate (speed bumps seemed unnecessary and made parking a bit difficult. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the two fireplaces made for the perfect nightcap and a truly relaxing evening. The staff at the front desk were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. "Very clean, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Very conveniently located near town and right off highway. Laundry area was sufficient but only 2 washers/dryers in place. Parking was convenient however spaces were extremely narrow/tight. I'd definitely recommend this hotel."

"This hotel was in a decent location, but unfortunately, there’s no access to the beach directly across the street. You have to go over this ridiculously huge bridge in order to get to the beach, which is a very rocky beach so we just drove to Laguna each day. One thing I was very disappointed in was the fact I specifically decided to book this place so I can relax in the hot tub and look at the ocean. The view from the hot tub is good. However, the hot tub did not have any jets flowing...

"Everything that matters was great. It's a simple hotel, not flashy or fancy, but it was very clean, safe, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The AC worked well, the water temp was easy to dial in, etc. If you just need a clean, simple place to stay, this place is excellent. And it helps that there's an In-N-Out restaurant right next door :)"

"Everything was pretty good. We stayed there for a night and had no problems, except that the bed sheets seemed too small for the King Bed we were sleeping on. There were no spare sheets, and after getting up, the sheets would already crumble into a ball."

"We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. "I needed a room for one person while visiting Orange County for a basketball tournament and I really wanted to be within walking distance of the beach but was on a tight budget and I was delighted to discover the Boat Room at Nomads. The price was unbeatable for a May weekend and I loved my tiny little room. It had absolutely everything I needed and the ownership was so helpful via text with getting checked in and then adding the information about my rental car right before we got to the hotel....

"The building and room were excellent. I parked off street and was steps from my room. I ordered a pizza and the delivery was smooth! The bed was amazing and I loved the sheets! The bathroom is upgraded and nicely done. I had an appointment early and the Villa is centrally located in San Clemente and the traffic was good too! I enjoyed my stay and will return! Christy B"

"Very convenient location in San Clemente. Room and bed were comfortable and the hotel was quiet each morning. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool/hot tub area was a bit tired and sun worn. Everything worked and was useful at the pool but it did not fit with the rest of the property. Will definitely return when in SC."
