A couple of giant whirligigs in downtown Cary, NC. Vollis Simpson from Wilson made these and also many other whirligigs, many of which are in his hometown of Wilson, NC. Mr. Simpson passed on in June, 2013. His work can also be seen in several folk art collections around the country.

Wonderful place walking distance to everything downtown, only complaint is no parking, you have to find a spot on street or around corner in a parking garage which may not work for everybody, we managed it fine.

Was there for just one night before we flew out the next day but they were very accommodating and helpful!! The shuttle bus driver even came back to the airport after my girlfriend left her phone on the bus!

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Good job cleaning ladies. My dog loved it! I would definitely stay again. The TV was glitching, but other than that, we had a wonderful time.
