"I don’t normally leave bad reviews. I just dont review them. But here i have to say my piece.
2 star Bed & breakfast on top of a busy restaurant (not 3.5 star but nice try). Quite basic accommodation and no lift nor vehicle access as it’s in the old town (unesco protected). However it’s quite close (1 min walk on cobbled street to the road).
Staff are great once you get to know them. Big shout to Adil Naila Omer & veldana.
Checkin was really bad. Our van had an accident on the way to the hotel so we weren’t in a good frame of mind or body. Our room was on 2nd floor no lift, and we were all sporting bruises cuts and swollen knees & shoulders and in obvious pain. We asked to change the room but point blank refusal - even though other rooms had not checked in so we could have been moved. I saw them checking in hours later.
2nd floor room was in the loft and my wife hit her head on one of the concrete eaves. So I rearranged her bed only to find our socks were white with dust and the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Back down we went to complain, only to hear we don’t have a cleaner. After complaining, eventually someone cleaned to room and actually mopped the floor. However hairs on the sofa and in the bathroom made it abundantly clear the cleaner was lackadaisical at best.
We ate at the Emen restaurant and things started looking up as we made friends with the staff. Food was amazing and very tasty. Naila gave us a verbal tour and breakfast was plentiful."
"This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Mostar. It is located in the middle of everything and yet it has privacy and you are not surrounded by tourists.
Staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to halo you Most importantly the food is amazing!!
I’m definitely coming back here again. "
