"The location is very convenient to the Gare de Lyon.It was just across the street and down a short block.Despite the noisy neighbourhood the room was quiet.I was on the first floor so I did hear a rumble from the Metro which must run under the hotel, however it wasn't troublesome for sleeping.
The front desk clerk was exceptional. He suggested a walking route for our free afternoon that was interesting, arranged a taxi for the airport the next day and was helpful with luggage. His English was very...

"As a 92-year-old man, the staff was especially attentive to my needs. Although fully mobile, I need a traveling companion to accompany me. A close family friend, a woman, agreed, and the hotel staff went out of their way to arrange the room to afford some privacy for us both.
The breakfasts were excellent, and the location at Gare de Lyon is on a street with excellent restaurants only a few steps away.

"Ideal location for railway station. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I left my AirPods but didn’t realise until I was on the train to Zurich. I emailed them straight away and had an immediate response, they said they would keep hold of them until my return 2 weeks later. I returned and they kept their promise. Thank you and I would highly recommend this hotel."

"In normal times, this would have been a good location but it is a bit to close to Bastille for comfort. Staff were not sympathetic to my need for information on manifestations. Wifi was weak so it was difficult to get information. Room was tiny but comfortable. The HVAC is old and noisy. Breakfast was ok but the coffee machine seemed to make only half a cup at a time."

"Good location on a side street (so little traffic & quiet). Just a block away from Bastille metro. Near several Restaurants, bakeries & pharmacies (bought a lot of French products to take home!).
Also discovered Paris’ Coulée Verte converted park over an unused metro track (just like NYC’s Highline)—very nice!"
