"Very nice new unit, air conditioning works very well, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely private patio with sun loungers and a million dollar view of funchal and the ocean far below. Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. A high end dining road with numerous restaurants including a Michelin two star, but also with more reasonable options, is a block away...

"The Apartment is in an excellent location and the company who manage it are both helpful and professional. The Apartment was excellent value and was clean and inviting. It is basic in terms of comfort and the balcony is small. We had a wonderful holiday in Madeira. Without a car location is very important in Funchal as it is a city which is in a valley and therefore difficult to walk. "
