"First of all, this is an OLD and HISTORIC property! If thatโs your vibe this place is great. If youโre on the fence or not into it, not the place for you. Even though itโs old, it is VERY clean! I was impressed with the cleanliness of everything there."

"The person at the desk was neither friendly or helpful at arrival. There were no clean towels offered until requested after several days. There was a parking fee which was not disclosed when making reservation. Due to emergency no time to make reservation through optional channels. Thus, the Rest Easy option for reduced rate was denied due to third party booking. Not offered a receipt at checkout for the same reason. Under different circumstances I would have changed hotels. For future stays I will seriously consider that."

"A wonderful, impeccably maintained, and relaxing lodge on Kent Pond. The lodge has a laid back vibe, the staff is very helpful and welcoming, and the proximity to the Appalachian trail (the lodge is on the trail) and Kent Pond make it a perfect place for outdoor activities. We swam, paddled, kayaked, and hiked without having to drive anywhere. Highly recommend it!"
