The property is full of wildlife, and we were able to watch spider monkeys swinging from the trees from the balcony of our room, as well as watch a variety of native birds and other native creatures without going anywhere else. "We enjoyed Sangregado Lodge. Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water, which was a nice touch. The highlight of this lodge is the spectacular view of the Arenal valley. "The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."

"The views are great. Breakfast is fulfilling too. Consider this your lunch. Property is well maintained and very peaceful.the only one thing they can improve is providing clients with a trolly or something to carry bags from parking to their room. As the path leading to the room is all decorative pebbles the bag was heavy for me to carry it all the way to my room. Overall great stay during July 4th weekend."
