"Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner. "An excellent location with easy access to the main walking strip and a quick walk to the beach. Only issue was it can be a little loud at night due to the lively atmosphere around the marina on weekends. Check in was a little complex if you are arriving after-hours but was offset by very helpful staff."

"First time in this place, despite knowing whole Vilamoura, and i loved it. Quiet area, safe, supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby in case you don't want to go far, cheap laundry a couple of meters away, plenty of garden areas nearby where you can enjoy a nice walk. The property itself is simple, but it has everything you need, including an iron and a board to help you get your clothes look nicer for your night outs.
