"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! "The room was clean, the staff were great and friendly. We had booked the compact room which was okay for a one night stay. Had all the necessary facilities. Great shower. Receptionist informed us that there was a jam session on that night and we managed it for a short while before we had to go as in Greenock for a family celebration. Continental breakfast was included in the price but a hot breakfast could be purchased. Excellent hotel for the price."
