When we travel as a we seldom eat in the hotel restaurant, the coupons we received at check-in convinced us to give it a try...we were blown away by the speed, attentiveness of our server,, and the fresh meal we received. "Just a one night stay for us passing through to go to Bay Beach amusement park. Very worn hotel, but clean enough room. Weird refrigerator, set on a 2 hour timer/freezer? The thing that ticked me off was the giant birthday party going on at the pool. I chose this hotel for the fun slide and pool for my 8 year old daughter to use, but it was overrun with kids climbing up and down the giant slide and a ton of people only from this party. "The stay was great, the kids had lots of fun. The only issue we had was breakfast was pretty terrible. Cold food and the potatoes were definitely not fresh. We went somewhere else to eat. Other than that, everything was pretty awesome."

"I never got to check in. The door to office was open but staff was nonexistent. I rang the bell several times. I called the motel from my cell several times all to no avail. It will become a problem if I end up paying for the stay that didn't happen."

"Lovely, clean room with jacuzzi tub and shower and comfy bed with a surplus of pillows. Open, well-lit dining room with a solid menu and excellent service. The morning omelet and coffee were both excellent. The property is RIGHT next to the Saturday farmers' market, which was a blast. Live music later in the morning. Excellent bookstore (The Lion's Mouth) just a short walk away. The river walk is great – don't mess with the goslings, or their parents will grab you and your kids and give you PTSD...

"Our room was newly renovated and clean, staff was great. 1st floor of hotel is currently under construction as of 6/27. But noise level was low. When everything is done it will be super nice. Only downside was the parking lot was extremely tight and even with the hotel not being full it was difficult to find a spot because of all the shipping containers and other large vehicles being stored onsite. "We had our wedding reception in this hotel 28 years ago, and it was the nicest hotel in town at that time. However, I am sad to say it is really showing its age. There was no fan in the bathroom, nor were there any towel racks to place towels on if you are staying more than one night. The fold out couch in our suite was disgustingly dirty and the mattress is a sheet of springs with a cloth cover, probably was one of the original furnishings. "I understand that the date we showed up the sewer lines were being replaced and the bridge was closed for maintenance. Not the hotels fault. The staff was nice, the room was cleaned but walking down the stairs for breakfast, the smell of urine was strong. We've never been to Green Bay before and I didn't realize how strong a smell the algae bloom was, but wow! It was in the hallways, the front desk and even the elevator.
