"The lady who greeted us at Reception was very nice and friendly. She put us in a room with a larger bed, because we didnt need a kitchen.
We noticed mould on the doorframe as we went in, and one look at the state of the "spa" we decided not to use it. The fittings were rusty and there were rust stains in the pool. It also really needed a good paint and upgrade. Not impressed with the room, but the view from the lookout deck was amazing. Though this deck had replaced the pools which were shown...

"The parking was convenient and felt secure, which I appreciated.
However, the cleanliness and housekeeping standards were disappointing, especially for the price.
When I entered the room, the bed sheets had not been properly smoothed out, and the bedding at the foot of the bed was noticeably wrinkled. My first impression was that the room might have already been used. Later, I noticed an unoccupied room downstairs with the same bedding condition, so it appeared to be the usual housekeeping...

"The staff on arrival were very pleasant, however we had requested 2 beds and they split the current bed but seemed to use the very large sheets so that you almost tripped over them. The beds were very narrow. No lounge chair to sit and watch TV
The first day we were there they came and only made 1 bed, did not remove the rubbish or vacuum. the next day they arrived at 11. 55, I asked them to come back in half an hour (we were going out to lunch) and was told they were finishing soon. This was...

"We stayed three nights, it was a perfect location and the room was clean and worked well for us. The only thing I would point out was that the pool cues in the games room had no ends on them and the pool balls were not all there, my kids and I enjoy playing on a pool table so were disappointed that we were unable to play. Other than that I recommend Ika Nui and will stay there again."
