"We stayed for two nights at Drift House in Port Fairy and had a somewhat mixed experience. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It really feels like a special place to stay. We also dined in the restaurant and the meal was beautiful, with high-quality food and a great atmosphere. The staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. "I received a detailed email and a hand written note from the owner, which I thought was a lovely touch. Very lovely room, just wish I wasn’t there just for the night cause I definitely would have had a bath!!"

"I wanted to leave a positive review as I felt the manager genuinely tries their best. There's a total lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. You would want to be in a very confident and comfortable partnership to share this room. There's literally NO privacy at all. The bed is only a double which is a let down, especially with the $400 a night price tag. Breakfast is off site but quire good. "

Only could fault a couple things really. 1 day the pool was overloaded with chlorine to the point it stripped my sons osmosis swim shirt from blue to grey and my shirt from brown to orange. And i. The roof of the cabin newds a good c9bweb clean. Oh and luckily we had a lighter as the gas stove lighter had ran out of gas. Other than that was a nice place to stay. Staff are friendly. "

"Hi there, the staff managing The Caledonian Inn were friendly and welcoming. The accomodation was clean and modernised with onsite parking close to the local cafes, restaurants, hotels and the Loop walk leading to the Lighthouse and the surrounding Shearwaters Colony. A great experience. Thank you"

"The hotel was centrally, located very close to everything within walking distance. The room was on the smaller side and the finishing a little bit dated. Otherwise pretty much functional and suitable for a one night stay. there was plenty of parking. "
