"The room was clean overall and hotel had a fun modern feel. I did not care for the soap mounted on the wall because you had to squeeze it with your dirty hand to use it. The shower door did not close leading to water making a mess on the floor. Staff was great, I even had one staff member go and get me hot water for tea. The pool was fun but beware, it's chilly! The breakfast was ok, pancake maker broke the 2nd day but it was a big hit with the kids. Would stay again if in the area. Location is great with lots to do, shopping, restaurants, etc in walking distance. Don't miss The Rio for dinner!"

"The staff is amazing. The rooms not so much. Door was hard to close, the tub was all scratched up, the bathroom door couldn’t open all the way because it would hit the sink. The breakfast is pretty much the same in any hotel. "

"This was the worst stay ever!!!At check in, the desk person was so rude but I overlooked it as we had been at the hospital with my nephew all day and very tired. Then the people in the room above us stomped around for two nights. We suffered through the 1st night but the 2nd night we called 4 times to ask the night person to do something. Either NOTHING was done or they were ignored. It started at 11 pm and continued allnight we figured it was a dog. The front desk never offered to move us even though we did ask. In the morning when i spoke with the front desk face to face she told me they had offered and we declined. Why lie?? I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not in until Monday, I requested a name and phone and was given their card. I most definitely will be calling tomorrow but i was very disappointed Hampden Inn has always been my goto."
