"Every single thing about the caravan park was horrible amenities where disgusting, staff rude , cabin old smelly oven stove disgusting would never cook on it , windows filthy, road into park bearly drivable, shower needs a good clean & new shower head as it didn’t work . Overall DISGUSTING. Not worth the money 😡😡"
"The oldest Motor Inn from the 1960s has a huge potential as a destination in its own right. Just need to restore it to original condition (eg. do away with the 90s colonial revival lace & federation colours) "
"My fiancé & I stayed 2 nightto scope out the property for our wedding (the online photos are amazing)
The room we stayed in was in the queen mews, as we were informed online the other rooms were all booked out, I believe this to be untrue which was disappointing.
Room we stayed in was extremely dusty, there were dust piles under the bed & behind doors. There were a lot of dead bugs in shower & on bathroom floor also. Toaster also had large chunks of burnt bread in it. Cleanliness was not very high.
I believe the bed in room 5 is a double, not queen. Pillows were old and misshapen. Mattress was also very hard. Initial view however was very cute, although not like photos at all.
Property has functional wifi. Owner stated it’s available on the verandah of the private residence, however this was very hard to access and felt like it was encroaching on the private areas of property. Speaking further to the private areas of property ; We did not further explore the property to scope it out for our wedding and/or accommodation after wedding for our immediate family. It was not obvious where private property areas began.
We saw the female owner on arrival, this was very nice touch, we began with high hopes.
Gardens & dogs were lovely. Sheep & chickens were also a nice addition, however are not where accommodation is, they are off driveway.
It was an ok stay, but it easily could have been amazing with more attention to guest care and cleaning the room properly. "
"Our family enjoyed our overnight stay at The Grange burn motel. The decor is a bit dated, but everything was clean and functional. The kids enjoyed the pool which was surrounded by a lovely little garden. The staff we welcoming. "
"Rooms and hotel in general were beautifully clean.
Lots of memorabilia though out there hotel.
Only downsides was a very hard mattress and not a lot of floor room for bags.
Super place to stay, right in the middle of Warnambool and Port Fairy."
