We did not eat at the cafe only because we slept in or had breakfast plans. There was one clerk, I didn’t get her name, she was a young African-American woman who was very friendly, made me laugh whenever I spoke to her, helpful, and reminded me about the afternoon lemonade. She was a welcome face when we would leave or return while she was on shift."

"We liked Homewood Suites so well the first time, taht there was little doubt where we would stay this time in Springfield. Spacious rooms, clean, staff was very courteous, breakfast was good. If we go to Springfield again for an overnight stay or longer, we'll likely choose Homewood Suites."
